Job Description:
We are looking for a key leader to operate and coordinate the warehouse operations as a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. It is essential to possess deep knowledge of quality and productivity standards, logistics and inventory management, training the staff, information systems, and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. Your goal is to guarantee that the shipping and receiving processes are running smoothly and effectively.
Key Duties

Supervise and coordinate activities of coworkers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing of shipments.

Oversee receiving of raw ingredients and materials.

Determine space requirements and positions, routing and set guidelines.

Maintain traceability of the raw ingredients up to the finished product.

Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications, and seal loaded boxcars and truck doors.

Effective communication with shipping partners.

Create employee schedules and supervise punctuality.

Train employees on GMP’s, Food Safety, HACCP/FSPC.

Ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner.

Analyze that the inventory levels and counts are performed accurately in order to ensure full shipments.
Qualifications:

Previous experience on shipping and receiving supervision in the food manufacturing industry.

Ability to lead people/team and engage/mentor staff.

High oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge of product and process technologies.

Planning, manage, and meeting schedules effectively.

Bilingual skills are a plus (English / Spanish).
