Our client, a successful real estate firm based in the Surrey, BC area is seeking a Senior Property Manager to join their leadership team. This SPM is a dynamic career growth opportunity with this award-winning facility and area where very significant further growth and development is already happening.
You will manage 500,000 square feet Class A office space and 140 retail clients, including a university campus. You will lead a team of managers who are responsible for enhancing asset value and maximizing the operating performance of this Class A asset, delivering the highest level of service with respect to, housekeeping, security, maintenance, marketing, and tenant, community and customer relations.
Your role:

Sustain cooperative relationships with senior management, contractors, and the public, while ensuring that strategic goals are delivered.

Motivate, empower and coach the staff and contractor team in the achievement of operational goals, working in a fast-paced environment.

Leading contract renewals for key service delivery and working alongside the key stakeholders and having the vision to look at the master plan and multiple phase growth.

Report to the Vice-President and General Manager.

Support both retail and office tenants.

Have a desire to continually improve revenues and efficiency of operations.
Requirements

A Real Estate Council of BC Rental Property Management Services License is required.

Minimum 7 years of high-quality office and retail property management experience in a senior capacity.

Proven experience in completing complex budgets, quarterly reports, and other corporate reports is an integral requirement for this position.

Business Degree, Diploma or equivalent supplemented with courses in property management and assets.

CPM, RPA, CSM, or equivalent designation is preferred.

Excellent relationship-building skills, business acumen, and a proven understanding of the key factors that drive profit.
