Job Description:

We are looking for talented people to join our operation. You work with color, layers and images. You are a reliable team player and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. You work under deadlines and you are able to solve problems independently.

 

The goal is providing high quality image retouching and manipulation for different print applications and providing customers with the highest quality of technical workmanship. You will join a team based on a trajectory of success, and an organization that has partnered up with big-name brands across different industries thanks to maintaining the highest quality of technical workmanship. Your responsibilities:

 

Assembly:

  • Indicates the color rotation on the proof as per the docket system.

  • Generates “fpo” images for artwork for initial visual purposes.

  • Can offer some creative work for package renovations of component adaptation.

  • Understands packaging requirements such as rollovers, type height and weight, line thickness for trapping purposes, copy safety zones, etc.

  • Can create and organize master logos and master copy for promotional packaging.

  • Creation of mock-ups for graphic element alignment and proper clearances.

Completed Job Quality Control Check

  • Checks for consistency of created artwork to each related SKU.

  • Proofreads copy for type errors and visually check the placement of graphic elements for a successful marketable product.

 

Requirements

  • Understanding of file types used in print and in digital applications

  • Practical experience applying principles of color theory

  • Proficient with current MAC OS

  • Use of Adobe InDesign or equivalent design application

  • Knowledge of government regulations for CDN/US markets

  • Experience of applying print standards to image content preferred

 

Qualifications

  • Completion of high school or college with a focus on graphics or computers
