3rd Shift Plant Maintenance Technician / Food Manufacturing

Job Description:

We are seeking for a Plant Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team. You will keep machines, mechanical equipment, and structure of an establishment in repair. As well you will provide technical productivity to ensure maximum possible equipment reliability at minimum product life-cycle costs.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Reviews and updates preventative maintenance logs to ensure company compliance.

• Diagnoses problems related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring, drywall and appliances.

• Dismantles, inspects, repairs, or replace faulty parts on all types of manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment.

• Installs, replaces and removes electrical motors.

• Analyzes all types of circuits, writing diagrams and drawings then executes projects.

• Installs, conduit fittings, switches, controls and fixtures including the wire/cable.

• Makes all necessary mechanical repairs to equipment including, bearings, gears, shafts, pins, coupling, belts, tensioners, air valves, cylinders, actuators, chains, sprockets, etc.

 

Qualifications:

 

• High school Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of two years of similar experience.

• Team-based approach to decision making

• Must be able to perform multiple tasks.

 

 

Preferred:

 

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• CDL (Commercial Drivers License) is a plus.

• Exposure to PLC systems, and VFD drives.
