Job Description:

We are looking for leaders to spearhead our sales department as an independent agency, for both Commercial Auto Insurance and Personal Lines Sales.

 

You will be developing and utilizing skills to ensure the long-term success of the agency while reaching personal goals and achievements. Maintaining optimal execution while providing and promoting elevated customer service will be a key item in your day-to-day.

 

Independent insurance agents work for insurance brokerages, selling the policies of several companies. They match insurance policies for their clients with the company that offers the best rate and coverage.

For Commercial Auto Insurance

 

Your role:

 

  • Call potential clients to expand their customer base

  • Interview prospective clients to get data about their financial resources and discuss existing coverage

  • Explain the features of various policies

  • Analyze clients’ current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes

  • Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients

  • Handle policy renewals

  • Maintain electronic and paper records

  • Help policyholders settle claims.

 

For Personal Lines Sales Representative:

 

Your role:

 

  • Solicit new business sales and services existing customers accounts.

  • Identify and contact non-realty lead sources to assess, recommend and secure appropriate insurance coverage.

  • Conduct annual coverage reviews to identify and cover additional risk exposures.

  • Confer and negotiate with carrier underwriters on behalf of clients to save underwriting cancellations; remarketing as necessary.

  • Perform account transactions including, but not limited to quotations, applications, endorsements, and binders.

  • Foster and maintain professional networking relationships with clients.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • P&C License.

  • Experience in the commercial auto insurance sector is a plus, but any sales experience will be considered.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills, business acumen, and a proven understanding of the key factors that drive growth.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Experience with basic technology such as a computer, email, and phone.
